Finance consists of controlling for Commerce & Innovations, Operations and Group.


The departments are managed by Finance Directors who report directly to the Avebe CFO. The Controllers within the departments supply relevant dashboards and act as business partners, advising on maximizing return and managing risks. This role gives you the opportunity to have an impact in a world of knowledge and innovation and to develop in your competencies within various departments and with different stakeholders.


Function

We offer a starters position with:
• Develop career and experience paths both in functions and in roles with a major drive in competency-based development. Based on strategic personnel planning, we offer these options in the longer term.

• Support to follow a post-doctoral controller training.

• Avebe Young, a professional network of employees within Avebe up to 35 years of age. Avebe Young has its own board and budget for relevant activities.

• A one-year contract and in the event of proper functioning will be converted into a permanent employment contract.


Tasks and co-responsibilities

• Providing various reports and forecast of business and investment projects (planning & control)

• Optimizing financial information provision, using up-to-date reporting tools

• Supporting the Operations & Innovations management teams, in the assessment of investment and return analyzes

• Working in partnership with sales and marketing to maximize returns

• Implement various process improvements (AO / IC)

• Participate in multifunctional project teams

• Standardization of processes and optimization


Job requirements

• You have 1 to 3 years of experience

• Completed WO training; business economics, controller training or accounting training

• Pré (relevant) experience in ancillary activities, such as (financial) management positions
